Custom Components

Custom and modified components

Despite our extensive range of standard components, there is often the need for non-standard materials, shapes, functionality and colour. We regularly manufacture customised or modified components for our clients.

Rencol benefits from a diverse range of manufacturing capabilities, including plastic injection moulding, metal injection moulding, CNC machining, die casting, stamping & pressing, and hot & cold forging.

Our attitude is that we’ll help our customers achieve whatever they need, drawing on our wealth of manufacturing experience. We provide intelligent advice and support throughout our service – from helping you optimising your custom product or modification, ensuring strict quality control, bespoke packaging and tailored ordering and stockholding.

  • We can customise or modify any standard component or we can design a new, unique component specifically for your needs.
  • If you need low minimum order quantities, we can produce a run of as little as 300 pieces.
  • Production and quality control is overseen by our own engineering and quality teams.
  • We provide weekly air freight and fortnightly consolidated sea freight deliveries.

Prototyping

Our design and prototyping capabilities can develop your idea rapidly from concept to a product that’s ready to be mass manufactured cost effectively and efficiently.

Optimising a new product or component to be made in large numbers at low cost and to the necessary specifications is a specialist skill. Our experts can help refine and perfect your concept quickly and efficiently, testing and improving it and advising on good practice, risk of failure, standards and regulations.

We can prototype for function, to ensure its shape, strength and tolerances are all optimised for the function it will carry out, as well as prototyping for manufacturing, looking for the most cost effective and efficient processes to achieve the required results.

Tooling fabrication

Tooling means designing and creating the moulds that are used for plastic and metal injection moulding, stamping and pressing. It’s an area in which we have almost a century of experience, and today we offer a highly cost effective and precise service.
