Detent Plastic Hinge with Caps

Description

Our Model 14 HI are lightweight and strong, high impact resistant thermoplastic hinges. We supply four variations of this hinge; a traditional free-swinging hinge or three detent hinges which hold doors and panels open at a predetermined angle (0°, 80°, 115° or 150°).

Detent hinges are designed to give hands-free access to the interior of enclosures and cabinets. The hinge ensures a door remains in a fixed, open position, without the need for secondary mechanical support such as a gas strut. This reduces the total number of components required and prevents additional hardware from taking up space inside the enclosure or cabinet.

We include four snap-on caps which hide and protect the mounting hardware.
