Concealed Hinge with Removable Pin
Description
Our Model 20 HI is a simple and reliable concealed and removable hinge which is ideally suited to various types of sheet metal industrial enclosures and cabinets.
This hinge’s concealed mounting configuration offers improved security and weather resistance over traditional external, surface mounted hinges.
The Model 20 HI features a removable pin which can be used to separate the door from the enclosure and help provide greater access for maintenance. The stainless steel hinges include a stainless steel pin and the zinc plated steel hinges include a zinc plated steel pin, except 16881R which includes a simple nylon pin. All hinges except 16881R come complete with a circlip to secure the pin in place.
Material
Zinc plated steel hinge, pin and circlip, stainless steel 304 hinge, pin and circlip, or zinc plated steel hinge and white nylon pin (16881R has no circlip).
Installation
Mounting to enclosure frame is either via metric bolts or rivets. Zinc plated steel and stainless steel pins include circlips while the nylon pin has an integrated locking mechanism.
Function
A removable pin allows the door to be separated from the enclosure giving improved access.
